The Games
Rules
Two teams compete head-to-head in this relay. To set up, eight markers are placed in a single file line on the ground. Each team gathers at opposite ends of the line, with four members from each side occupying the four markers nearest to them. As the game starts, the two players in the center face off in a match of rock, paper, scissors until a winner emerges. The victor moves forward into the loser's marker, prompting their entire team to advance by one marker. The defeated player must exit the line and return to the back of their team's queue. This process repeats with the next set of opposing players. The match concludes once one team is successfully forced entirely off the track.
Scoring
The winning team earns 3 points.
Rules
All team members form a single-file line, everyone facing forward. Each participant is equipped with a marker and a sheet of paper. The individual at the very end of the line receives a secret prompt. Using the person in front of them as a surface, they place their paper on that teammate's back and begin sketching the prompt, choosing their own pace.
Moving down the line, each person must attempt to replicate the sensation of the drawing being made on their own back onto their own paper. Communication regarding the drawing or the subject matter is strictly prohibited. Once the first artist finishes, they must verbally announce it. The final person in the line completes their drawing and must then attempt to identify the original prompt in writing. Each team member in the line must also write down what they think the prompt was on their drawing.
Scoring
1 point for each correct guess of the prompt, with 4 bonus points if the last member guessed correctly.
Rules
Each team must select one person to act as the ring "catcher," who is required to keep their hands by their sides throughout the game. The other team members will attempt to toss hula hoops onto the catcher. Participants can aim for different point values based on designated lines marked on the ground. Every team will be provided with four rings for their toss attempts.
Scoring
Teams receive points for each ring successfully thrown onto their teammate. The number of points is determined by the distance from which the ring was thrown.
Rules
The objective is to fill a large bucket with water. However, for this challenge, each team is equipped with a single sponge to move the water. Participants must transfer water back and forth between the water source and their team's bucket to successfully fill it.
Scoring
Points are awarded in order of completion: 6 points for first place, 5 points for second, and so on.
Rules
Each team member receives a spoon, and the team forms a line. The objective is to pass a sequence of "eggs" from one end of the line to the other. Some participants may need to navigate a minor obstacle before handing off to their next teammate. The team that successfully transfers all eggs in the shortest amount of time is declared the winner. If an "egg" falls, it must be returned to the start of the line to begin the process again.
Scoring
Points are awarded in the order each team finishes: 6 points for first place, 5 points for second, and so on.
Rules
Participants gather around a table where they are presented with a single marker. Attached to this marker are multiple strings. Each team member must grab the knot at the end of their string. The objective is for the group to coordinate their movements and collaborate effectively to sketch whatever specific subject the game masters request onto a sheet of paper.
Scoring
The referees award points based on their determination of which team made the most accurate drawing. 3 points for first place, 2 points for second, and 1 point for third.
Rules
Six bottles are concealed from the team to start the challenge. Participants take turns attempting to guess the specific sequence of the bottles. After each attempt, the game masters provide feedback on the number of correctly and incorrectly placed bottles. Successive team members must then use this logic to refine their guesses.
Scoring
Points are awarded based on the speed of completion, with the fastest teams earning the highest scores.
Rules
Participants organize themselves in a line connecting a designated starting point to a finish line. Each player is provided with a cup featuring a small drainage hole at its base. The objective is to transport water from the source at the beginning of the line to a bucket at the opposite end. To succeed, team members must continuously transfer the water from one person's cup to the next until it reaches the final container.
Scoring
Points are awarded in order of completion: 6 points for first place, 5 points for second, and so on.
Rules
Every team competes simultaneously by forming a line across the grass field. Each team member must maintain a distance of 7 paces from their nearest teammate. Ten water balloons are positioned at the beginning of each line, with a collection bucket placed at the far end. Once the signal is given, teammates must pass the balloons down the chain with the goal of safely depositing them into the bucket.
Please help pick up any broken water balloons during or after the game. We want to leave the park as nice as we found it!
Scoring
Teams receive 1 point for each water balloon that makes it into their bucket intact. 3 bonus points to the team that finishes first, 2 bonus points for second, and 1 bonus point for third.
Rules
Teammates alternate wearing a blindfold while being guided by their colleagues through a sequence of assignments. Once every team has completed a turn, all teams will proceed to a final showdown. In this final round, all team members are blindfolded except for one — that single sighted member must provide instructions to their entire blindfolded team as they work to finish several diverse tasks.
Scoring
Points are awarded by placement: 6 points for the top team, 5 points for second, and so on. In the final round, it's winner-take-all for 15 points.
